- Appointment Data: Details of your bookings with doctors, including date, time, and visit type.
- Medical Records: Medical files and documents that you or your doctor upload, such as prescriptions, lab results, and nutrition programs.
- Location Data: Your approximate location (if permitted) to show nearby doctors.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and device identifier for push notifications and service improvement.
- Usage Data: General information about how you interact with the app to improve user experience.

- With Doctors: To complete the booking process and provide the requested medical care.
- Service Providers: We use Firebase (by Google) for notifications and analytics.
- Legal Requirements: When necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Data Security
We take appropriate security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and secure authentication via JWT tokens. However, no electronic system can guarantee 100% security.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active so we can provide our services to you. Specific retention periods are as follows:
- Account Data (name, email, phone, date of birth): Retained while your account is active, and deleted within 90 days of your account deletion request.
- Medical Records and Prescriptions: Retained while your account is active so you can access your medical history. Upon account deletion request, they are removed within 90 days.
- Appointment History: Retained for up to 5 years to comply with medical and regulatory recordkeeping requirements, even after account deletion, after which it is permanently deleted.
- Location Data: Not stored persistently; processed in real time only to display nearby doctors.
- Device Data and Push Notification Tokens: Retained while your account is active and deleted immediately upon sign-out or account deletion.
- Usage Data and Technical Logs: Retained for a maximum of 90 days for security and troubleshooting purposes, then automatically deleted.
- Backups: Your data may remain in encrypted backups for a maximum of 30 days after deletion before being permanently removed.
