this is well formulated combination which contains 4 active ingerients to -relieve the symptoms of common cold and flu. -1- paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic agent and has been clinically proven -to be effective for the temporary relief of minor aches and pain associated with the -common cold and for the reduction of fever. -2- dextromethorphane hydrobromide is a non narcotic anti tussive acts centrally in the medulla oblongata as opposed to locally (on the respiratory tract). -3- doxylamine succinate is a member of ethanolamine class of anti histamines; it acts by competitively inhibiting histamine at h1 receptors. this effect helps to relieve allergy cold symptoms such as watery eyes runny nose and sneezing fever headache and cough. it also blocks muscarinic receptors ( has an atropine like action). -4-pseudoephedrine: decongestant.
