sptiolto respimat containes a combination of olodaterol and tiotropium. olodaterol is a long-acting bronchodilator. tiotropium is an anticholinergic. these medications work by relaxing muscles in the airways to improve breathing. - -indications and usage -maintenance treatment of copd -spiolto respimat is a combination of tiotropium and olodaterol indicated for long-term once-daily maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (copd) including chronic bronchitis and/or emphysema. -**important limitations of use -spiolto respimat is not indicated to treat acute deteriorations of copd. -spiolto respimat is not indicated to treat asthma. the safety and effectiveness of spiolto respimat in asthma have not been established. -the recommended dose of spiolto respimat is two inhalations once-daily at the same time of the day. do not use spiolto respimat more than two inhalations every 24 hours.
